I believe mental health education should be accessible and engaging. I lead trainings, keynotes and workshops that give individuals and organizations the tools to understand themselves and each other better. My style blends research-backed insight with warmth and humor, making complex psychological concepts relatable and digestible. If your team, conference or community is looking for a speaker who can spark meaningful conversation and change, let’s connect!
I work with people who want more than coping skills. They want to understand why they feel the way they do, and what might actually help. In therapy with me, we’ll explore what’s driving the anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, relationship difficulties or stuckness. Whether you’re navigating a career shift, breakup, move to NYC or feeling lost, you don’t have to figure it out alone. Here, you have the space to slow down, heal and begin to feel more like yourself again.
I see clients for in-person therapy in NYC and online across NY, NJ, MA, NC, TX and LA.
My supervision style is collaborative and relational. I help clinicians strengthen their case conceptualization, build confidence, and integrate trauma-informed, psychodynamic, and mind-body approaches. Whether you’re new to the field or well-established, we focus on growth that feels aligned with your goals as a therapist.
I tailor therapy to you and pull from a variety of approaches:
You can show up exactly as you are–tired, in transition, anxious, motivated, overwhelmed, curious, guarded, ambitious, stuck, grieving, hopeful.
My approach integrates years of clinical experience and training with an understanding of how the mind and body store experiences. I’ll help you notice what happens internally in your mind and body, so you can begin to shift what once felt automatic or inevitable and create the kind of change that lasts.

“People are just as wonderful as sunsets if you let them be. When I look at a sunset, I don’t find myself saying, ‘Soften the orange a bit on the right-hand corner.’ I don’t try to control a sunset. I watch with awe as it unfolds.” – Carl Rogers

1. in my free time, you'll find me:
Outside of sessions, you’ll usually find me sewing, cross-stitching, diving into a new needlepoint project, or taking a Pilates class to help myself stay grounded.
I’m originally from a small town in eastern North Carolina, and although I’ve lived in NYC for over a decade, the “y’all” has never left me, and probably never will. I love bringing that blend of down-to-earth warmth and fast-paced city energy into the room with clients.
I grew up in a family of helpers. My dad was a social worker in substance abuse recovery, and my mom was a teacher and later a professor of special education. Compassion and curiosity were part of daily life.
Like many therapists, I’m a firm believer in the Jungian idea of the “wounded healer.” I’ve lived with anxiety since childhood, and I’ve been lucky to work with clinicians who helped me understand myself, my patterns and what healing can look like over time.
Those experiences shaped who I’ve become as a therapist, someone who helps you connect the dots, feel less alone and create sustainable change—not just temporary relief.
